Has anyone else had an issue with a ram making weird squeaking noise? Had my ID ripper out this weekend and last 2 matches of the day when the ram let the bolt forward there would be a squeak coming out of them ram. Gun was still firing at velocity just that squeak doesnt sound good. Ram in question is an ID ram. Gun is set up with Ivg set to flush, hpr at 150 paint matched correctly getting 274 275 274 on the chrono.

Do you have a QEV installed on the ram? They've been known to squeak.I can haz feedback?

Take the ram apart and grease it.
Don't forget the seal at the rear that the piston arm passes through. That strikes me as the likely squeaker.

No qev, just tore it down and it was a tiny tear in the bumper that caused a high spot, that combined with needing lube lead to the squeak.Comment
