So i can not seem to find my question so if it has been asked before i do apologies.
TL: IDR Which lpr is better palmer's rock or aka SCM 3 LPR?
Story time
I am rebuilding 2 autocockers and would like your opinion on which lpr to put on which marker. I have a new aka lpr and older palmers rock lpr.
First off I have a dye reflex that has eclipse ram w/ 2 qevs, id 3 way, rocket valve, stock bolt and stock hammer and cocking rod.
Next I have a pre99 with a id ram w/ 1 qev, besales 3 way, rocket valve, ans venturi bolt, stock hammer and might be a aftermarket cocking rod not sure tbh.
I have to tear both markers pnuematics apart for reasons, so i am trying to decide if i want to put the new aka on the reflex or the pre99. Previously the rock had been on the reflex and it has worked just fine so i am not worried about that. Any thoughts that would be greatly appreciated.

Both of those LPR are excellent choices, you can't go wrong here. Both definitely high performance.

Theoretically the recharge of the AKA is better, but when you are running an autococker ram it is 100% unnoticeable. You should choose the one that matches your desired look best.

Just aesthetics when you get down to it. Personally I think the rock would look more "correct" on the 99 than an aka. But as mentioned theres no real performance difference. Hell there's not really a difference between a sledgehammer and an nexus LPR on a cocker.

I agree that full size rock look better on a pre 2k

And I would use the AKA on the DYE

Aka LPR, eclipse ram and ID 3 way look like a good combo for the Dye but you could also do AKA lpr, ID ram and ID 3 way together

I'm going to resurrect this and vote for the Rock. I've been using one since the early 2000's, and they're consistent and always dependable. When they do require maintenance, it's just one o-ring and a spring. Stupid simple. I have one on all of my Autocockers, my old impulses had them, and now I'm trying to figure out how to attach one to my B2K (think Tapeworm).

You can just call Palmer's and they have adapters specifically for the B2k. I have one on mine.
