    Trouble with adjustments.

So I have a trilogy and I had it working perfectly. It was shooting well with no problems. Then I was having problems with the hammer all of a sudden getting caught in the frame so I added a little bit of Teflon tape to the hammer pin so that it wouldn’t move involuntarily and that since I stopped any hanging up. But now it seems like no matter how far in a screw in the ivG or how I adjust the regulator , The ball doesn’t leave the barrel and I don’t get a solid pop whenever I dry fire.
Is there a trick to setting up the high pressure regulator with the ivg without a chronograph? To at least get it going ? No leaks anyplace.
Also has anybody seen this regulator before? It was working fine and now I’m not so sure

Those Trilogy models work great with a gas through , no need to regulate. Throw a new spring in and get that regulator off and you should be in business

Obvious question here also but is your bolt in upside down

The reg is a Crossfire RDB.

Does it not need to be regulated? If that’s the case and I could make this thing a little bit lighter that would be really cool

            No regulation needed.

And yeah I agree with the above, check and see if the bolt is upside down

No LOL bolts in properly. There’s only threads on the top so it won’t screw in from the bottom to install the bolt. I’ll take the regulator off tomorrow and just run a hard line and see if it works any better. Maybe when I was using it last I had turn the regulator all the way down so that it wasn’t doing much. Thanks for the advice I’ll give it a try tomorrow

Wait what threads? There shouldn't be any threads on that bolt

Looks like the bolt pin is a thumb screw of some description? I don't know what's engaging the hammer if that's the case though.

Yea what Trbo323 said. What thread are you talking about ?

There is threads on the bolt that the thumb screw screws into to engage the hammer. It’s not a pull pin design.

So I put the air directly in and it still didn’t fire. Screwed in the IVG all the way and it barely shot the ball out 5 feet . Have 3000 psi in my tank , no leaks . Trilogy sport valve and everything .

Only upgrade is an inception half block hammer.

Valve could be in backwards. Big hole goes towards the front

No, the valve was in the correct way. What I’m noticing is there in pictures of a trilogy sport the valve hole is a little bit smaller than mine. I’m wondering if somehow my valve is a low pressure valve? Because it’s got a bigger hole for the cup seal to wrap around. I just don’t understand how I had it working a few weeks ago and now I can’t find that sweet spot again
