I always liked single slide frames for pumps, they felt really good. However, "growing up" with a spyder and later a B2K4, I always preferred a double hinge for a semi-auto. It's just what felt natural to me, so all my autocockers so far have a double hinge frame.

I may be convert. Shot the ST SFL with the Gunfighter tuned by Danny, and OH MY GOODNESS. It just feels so damned good. Next AC build is definitely getting a single slide frame.

Sliders are what I like most about Autocockers. If I'm given a hinge frame, it loses its magic and I'd rather just play with my Automag.

Agreed, with the exception of Eclipse hinges. Love those damned things, but I sold mine off when they started going for ridiculous dollar bucks. Now, I have two singles and one double slider and couldn't be happier.

Eclipse probably had the best hinge. I sold mine about a year before they went crazy with prices. 😕 My Jackal 90* was nice too, but it pulled me too far forward for comfort. I had to lean back away from the beaver tail. Lol.

I tried one of those Jackal hinges. 86 and 90* frames are just not for me. .45 frame or bust. All the Eclipses I've owned had the best trigger pulls I've ever messed with. But, my sliders are close enough for me to not care.
