4mm OD - 2mm ID hose ... Starving a pump?

Hello cocker experts,

I am working on a cocker pump (assist), and I'm thinking of using a 4mmOD - 2mmID hose in between the reg and the body. It would only be a few inches of tubes.

Is this gonna create enough restriction to have velocity/consistency issue or should I be ok with it?

You'll probably be ok... Ions use a similar hose to fill much larger valve chamber without shootdown.

Try it and let us know what you found out.
