Trilogy w/Aka valve what color springs

Wanting to put AKA valve in my trilogy. What color spyder spring for the valve and main spring works best. Can you also let me know what psi and fps your getting with your combo.t thanks.

I doubt anyone will have a great answer. This also largely depends on the paint barrel bore and atmospheric conditions to get to a specific fps

Use the stock trilogy spring for the tornado valve.

      hammer spring I can’t remember, but I used a few until I was happy. It’s medium. I’m shooting 285fps.

When I find time I’ll go through all the 11/16 valves I’ll make a post. I have aka, ccm, pps, macdev, wgp.

Latches is right that the stock valve spring works just fine. I have used trimmed lighter spyder hammer springs as well.

Generally with the stock valve spring I will use a medium weight hammer spring (colors vary by kit) and shoot 280fps around 200-220 PSI. Every gun and spring kit is different though, so there is some variation and experimenting to do.

edit: I suppose I should mention I have valves and springs in stock too if you need one.
Need Inception Designs or Shocktech Products? Let me know!

I would recommend not using the stock spring, for the sole reason that it will go bad very quickly. Better to find a replacement now while you're swapping out parts.

I think BMC on facebook was making an adapter plate for trilogies to use regular cocker valve springs. You could always get one of those and just use the AKA spring set.

I'm really not sure. I don't know if they used lousy quality spring steel, if it wasn't treated properly, or what. But inevitably, trilogies experience velocity problems after a certain amount of use. It's a well-known issue in the trilogy groups.
