Its a comparison of the two low-rise. Many people on FB commented on wanting a no-rise like the CCM so it was used for that. Yes CCM is not making then anymore. But the used market is full of them.

Incompetent because the CCM feedneck is supposed to be used with a cut down Hopper feedneck. That's why there is a half inch of hopper redneck sticking out of the top
Intentionally misleading if they knew the above to be true and then installed the CCM wrong and are now using this to convince people anyway. It's also using a 32th inch measurement for one feedneck and a 16th for the other instead of using a decimal inch or both
Either way I'm really not impressed with shocktech right now. If I was looking for a feedneck and wanted something low ST just convinced me that the CCM feedneck is better, they just didn't install it right

Most people do not know that. I search CCM site for any instructions on this none found. So not saying your wrong, your most likely not, just most new players or even seasoned players would not know that.

Tape measure is used in the photo, for visual refence, uses fractions 1/16" for scale not decimal point. When the CP measures halfway between the lowest 1/16" scale marks that's 1/32" of a inch. So, the CP is 1/32" shorter than the ST while using a JT triad loader un cut.

Sorry your feel that way. The CCM is install correctly, it only screws in so far. And you are free to buy what you want.
I enjoy supporting companies that are making new parts for a 25 year old marker like Shocktech, ID, FF, ACP, DOCFIRE PB, Killshot Kustoms, Angry PB, Mozak, (CCM when they have part), and many more. These Co provide new parts that have not been re-anodized multi times.

It is apparent to me you have more of an agenda than information. My guess its with Me more than Shocktech. That's ok your criterium is taken and stored away, and now I can see how a photo can trigger a person, sorry for that. Thanks for keeping this post at the top of the page.

sounds like you are just a crotchety person. I wouldn’t take your opinion for any level of merit beyond the level of an internet troll.

And yes I can understand that some players may not know that, but ST as a company was around in those days when cutting hoppers down was more common. They should know.

Yes the feednecks are both installed correct, my point is if they are trying to sell this to someone who WANTS that every bit of height savings then they didn't install the HOPPER on the CCM correct. It's misleading because if they did the hopper on the CCM would sit lower.

So, I don't understand why you're shitting on more products being available for consumers.
Buy the one you want.
I for one hate modifying my loaders feedneck. This highlights that I would end up with the loader in the same location on your cocker, with zero work involved. This ad is thus very informative for myself, and others in my frame of thinking.
The only way it's going to change more than something you need to measure to see is to have something like a stovepipe feedneck. Something that intentionally raises the feedneck
I'm not against this as a product at all, I'm against misinformation and this kind of misleading marketing. Sp did it with the "low pressure is more accurate" bs back in the day. Tippmann did it with the "flatline gives you more range".
Sp never backed up their claims and while it was true that the flatline would put the paint in the air for longer at the extra distance it wouldn't break so Tippmann was telling a half truth and it basically came down to how they decided to define "range" but in a game where the point is to get breaks on players it's pretty misleading to redefine that.

Shocktech is not SP nor Tippmann. Nor is this ad misleading. Its a comparison with data via photo. The CCM fits a little lower than the ST. The ST threaded area covers the threads and friction oring better. The CCM has less clamping surface area than the ST. The loader logo is in the photo and used for both comparison. No claims made that the ST will make your marker shoot faster or lower PSI. Quite frankly no claims at all, just facts on fitment. "Ours vs Theirs" does not say "Ours is better vs Theirs is crap" It a visual comparison of a feed neck fitment and look.
Sometime people Just want to see the difference between two items and how it looks on a marker to decide it is a item they want to buy. That's it.

im with you, Trbo323.
this thing makes no sense. shocktech fanboys are really grasping at straws over a 1/32" ?
i feel bad for their women!
but seriously, this feedneck makes zero sense to me. whats the innovation? the 1/32"? and availability?
if theres already TONs of existing options, what is the point of this feedneck?
the real fans expect more from Danny and the gang.
how bout a feedneck that changes height?
or modular for vert or side feed?
or has a quick release thats not a lever?
it sucks that so many companies are stagnant in their ideas department. they drop stuff like this and the "ooh! new! shiny!" crowd acts like theyve gotta have it! so they dont see any problem with becoming mediocre
i still love ST. no one can deny the greatness of their guns.
