    Pump Question

I recently got a project cocker and converted it to pump. Seems to be working pretty decent but I can't quite figure out if I have something setup incorrectly. I'm not an AC expert by any means but when I assemble my other cockers I leave the smallest gap possible between the back block and the body so they don't contact each other when shooting. With the pump kit I don't really see a way to do that unless I am missing something? A stop to install somewhere or similar? It's the cheaper Inception kit... I forget the name. TIA!

Nah man, its supposed to click-clack. if you are truly concerned you could always get some felt and stick it to the back block.... I guess.

        Mr Hick is right.
Mr. Hick is also a jerk because now I have to go put moleskin on a back block because I have never thought of that before.

Haha, I think I may try that too! I'm sure I'll get used to it, it just sounds a little off currently,... Like I'm beating it up 😂

I was sitting in my Computer chair drawing the worlds largest blank trying to think of Moleskin. Considering how many times I used it during my youth it honestly made me mad that I couldn't come up with it.

I wound up putting a thin layer of black plastidip on the back block. It's basically invisible, comes off easy and softens it just enough that it's not unsettling to me 😂

With a mech, you want to avoid the ram smashing the backblock to the body every shot. On a pump, its only the return spring and your hand if clamping it.
