WGP STO 3 way leaks out of front until cycling it once

    Hey ya'll

I recently completely rebuilt a 2005 WGP prostock that I picked up off of ebay but am having an issue with the 3 way on air up.

I replaced every single o-ring & seal in the setup (including all the orings in the 3 way), but the stock STO 3 way vents air out of the front on air up until I cycle it once. I was wondering if there's something basic I might be overlooking or maybe this is just normal behavior for these 3 ways?

I've tried adjusting the lpr a bit in both directions with no luck (it does seem to get a little quieter when I turn the lpr pressure up a hair but not to a point that fixes it. I've tried backing the timing in and out 1-2 turns in either direction but that doesn't work either.

Trying to get ideas before I try disassembling and replacing the o-rings on the 3 way again, thanks!

Lower the LPR until it doesn't cycle, then slowly adjust it until it does, then quarter turn more.

Did you replace the ram piston oring?

The internal one that goes over the pump arm? I actually may have forgotten that one! Let me swap it out and report back!

Ah yea, I definitely changed that one. But i'm going to change both while the ram is apart anyway and try it again

EDIT: Well it seems like that was it, works like a champ now! Thanks again for the advice, is the cause of that specific leak air getting around the ram piston o-ring and out through the front of the 3 way? Why does cycling seem to fix it? Just trying to further my tech knowledge.
