Trilogy vs Prostock Pump

Looking to get into pump because it seems alot of fun especially since i already like shooting pump shotguns.lol
I was curious as to how the pump experience would be with a Trilogy Slice kit vs 2k Silver kit.
Would the 2k kit be alot smoother or similar enough unless i go up to gold/plat?

Also what bolt would be recommended for a pump setup?
Im just looking around and gathering info before i decide which marker to convert to pump.

For the slice kits I always recommend something above their base kit. The base slice works but that's about all it has going for it. There's a chunk of rotation in the pump handle and play. It just doesn't feel as good as you want it to.

I've installed a silver kit for a customer before, it was much nicer. Felt way better and smoother.

Ok cool, well looks like i will get to try a the wgp trilogy pump kit and see how i like pump.
If i end up liking it how much different in feel/smoothness does the gold have over the silver would you say?

Something you may also want to consider is having someone modify a trilogy to be minied and have the ram arm removed to use a standard mini pump kit. Likely opens up some options for other pump kits and looks cleaner than a bent pump arm through a ram mount.

That is the direction i went with my personal trilogy. The next one i do will be getting an inception pump kit.
I did do alot more milling on mine but gives you a few ideas of what can be done on a trilogy.

Here is my Trilogy I put together, I absolutely think it’s my favorite pump I own. Stock internals , Powder coated metallic Tangerine, BM frame with Shocktech plate , Shocktech bolt , CP ASA, Freak All American , and Slice pump kit.
