    Maintenance for a pump autococker

Its going to be my birthday soon and i decided to treat myself. I found a used 2002 pro stock autococker that was converted to a pump one that works and was recently fully rebuilt. Im really excited about it. Its the first pump gun ive ever owned. When i first played paintball in the early 2000s i remember having a used autococker of some kind and there was a lot of pre game tinkering and futzing with it. I figured without the front block taking care of this will be a lot easier. What kind of maintenance schedule do you guys use with your pump autocockers? Do you go by days of play or the amount of shots you do? Do you do the paintball oil in the asa and do a few shots? I wasnt quite sure how maintenance is advised on these guys. I found an old pdf of the 2002 pro stock autococker but with it being pump i wasnt sure if anything changes or if you guys had tips.
    Thanks!

I mostly do time but only because I don't cycle enough paint through mine to really go by paint.

Probably every 2 to 3 years I do a complete strip and rebuild, grease in the reg but oil everywhere else. On the day of play, a few drops of oil in the ASA

I think you will be surprised how much adjusting and futzing a pump still needs. Little things can effect the pump stroke and it can get annoying if it doesn't feel right

I clean the top tube and outside after each use, oil in the asa if i remember to ( not often). Everything else i leave alone until a problem happens.

It's also not a bad idea to pull the regulator apart every 6 months to a year and grease the piston O-ring and inspect the seat. Typically after every use, I'll pull out the bolt and wipe off any debris as well.

Wipe down and oil the bolt after every day of play. Full breakdown once/year, reg rebuild 1-2x/year or if consistency issues arise.
