I was wondering what the hive mind thought about these frames and if they had any glaring issues? I saw the early three ways seemed to have rough interior finishes and was wondering if the three ways, hprs and lprs are solid now?

What is the general consensus on Dye DFF-20 UL sliders and pneumatics?

I picked up a loaded slider frame from FreeFlow a while back. With the frame and trigger plate being a satin/matte finish, the pull was slightly gritty and drove me nuts. I like a little stiffer/snappier pull on my cockers, and this just felt like it dragged from that friction. Also, I feel the pull was long relative to the sear movement you got and the springs were a smidge too light. Ergonomics were amazing for me, though, I'll give it that. But with that being said, I think there's a limited amount of body options they "match" with. Obviously they were made with the Reflex re-release in mind, but unless you want to run a mech/pump Karni/Kaos or something like that it looked a little weird (in my opinion). Hopefully my experience is a more isolated one, though!

I’ve never been able to get one to feel good.. I 100% agree, no matter what internals I dropped into it, it felt gritty.. and the grip just felt…..off
i will say that I didn’t spend a TON of extra time trying to make it feel good, I wasn’t going to spend days polishing parts, that should be done from factory. I have a bunch of dye swing frames that are my “go to”.. so after a little tinkering it didn’t feel good, it got retiredLast edited by Frmrspec; Yesterday, 10:25 AM.

I have used three and they all felt great on the pull.
But the ergonomics were not quite right for me for fast shooting.
The one I took empty and put internals in was fantastic on a pump though. I think if you put good glide screws in, with a nice smooth plate it is a great frame. Just not the norm, for some its great and some it is too differnt.

Freeflow aluminum plate dust ano plate is a no go.
Shocktech trigger plate is better.
I definitely like the polished frames over the dust frames.BeardedWorks.com (Your Inception Designs and Shocktech Dealer)

I had one when I started my build I liked how it was shaped like a UL frame but the little nub in the front they left was just uncomfortable it was placed all wrong for a single trigger frame if you ask me, it shouldn't have been there in the first place, literally all they did was copy the ul frame and that nub is from where the trigger guard would be, kinda dumb if you ask me, they could have done better, dye dropped that ball and put out another lack luster product as usual, seems to be their cup of tea these days

I don't remember what the springing was like. But I rememeber liking the ergos. If you generally like DYE UL frames, you'll like this one.
Haven't heard much good about the pneus. I'd jsut stick with ID.
