Azodin KP Teardown

Picked up an Azodin Pump and did a quick teardown. Nothing fancy, but gives one the general idea.

Exploded View: All the bits and pieces. Spyder-like internals. Techt Hush Bolt.



Regulator Exploded View:



In order to remove the front block you need to remove the vertical asa bolt as it retains the front block piece, in this case the pump rod:




Pump Rod Connection: Pump rod held in place by grub screw. Makes for easy removal of the pump handle for disassembly.

Pump Rods: dual orings on the main rod.

Question: What purpose do the dual pump guide o-rings serve?

fairly sure they are just a costeffective way to eliminate any slop in the linear motion without having to bother with tolerances too much.

Not sure. Maybe act as a spacer for the pump handle to keep it from directly contacting the main pump rod? So the handle would “glide” along the orings and not twist or bind? It does have a secondary rod as well, so didn’t notice any twisting. Pump stroke felt pretty nice.

Any idea what threading the feed neck on these are? I see this one has a CP neck.

I think they are Ion/Impulse threaded, at least Kaos uses that feedneck:
