KP burp?

I have a KP [kaos pump?] that came to me burping (hammer bounce). Is this common?

It is very clean and consistent, but has some Shocktech parts on it (modded). This is the first plain KP I've worked on, and I wasn't expecting that. I'm assuming it has been re-sprung.

From what I've heard respringing to eliminate the bounce just makes it shoot hot. I saw a video where some slathered the hammer in grease and it stopped the burping but I don't know if that would effect the consistency.
