So i've been tinkering with the idea of getting one of those shiny, double triggered, electronic, newfangled paintball guns. I've noticed most speedball style guns now are like 300 to 500. Tons of people prefer mini gs, etha 3, dye rize, and a few others. For me, i'm kinda looking at going cheap electro, less than 300, good higher end speedball gun trigger feel, company that isnt out of business, and just something plain old newer.
I've owned a smart parts ion, and a dangerous power fusion f8, a spyder and one or two other stacked blowback variants, all circa 05- 08'. I've always owned a tippmann. A5, 98, model 98, pro carbine, a double trouble ( that was a f**ng awesome monster), and even a pistol or two. I currently have a completely tooled out egrip a5 (my avatar), and an umarex t4e hdx pump shotgun. Why? Because shotguns are badass. Lol
I've debated back and forth about getting back into a dangerous power marker, spyder electra acs with the rocking trigger, an ion, and a few other shiny boi's. Some of the hangups i keep coming back to are that they're all like 15 years old, their parent companies are gone, all their parts and upgrades are discontinued. Not to forget my experience of working on guns for maintenance is tippmann. I dont know much about how to adjust a regulator, fix electronics, etc. A spool valve might be simple to some, but for me it may as well have tiny elves in it with blow guns for all i know.
I've heard about azodin as pumps for years, and done some review videos, and the blitz 4 seems to be pretty good fit for a budgety backup/loaner/enjoyable speedball change of pace. I enjoy spraying some paint, and i dont expect the feel of a luxe that talks to me when i turn it on. However i have not seen a whole lot about them on youtube and such.
To me it says well kept secret, or just a somewhat fanceir lowgrade like the old stacked blowbacks from the old days. So i ask you guys, do you have a blitz and like it, or do you wish you had gone with something else? Are they an overly touted beginner marker? Do they fire smoothly? Etc etc.
