Kpc+ upgrades

Just got a Kpc+, what upgrades do you recommend for the asa and feedneck (no 'should save for another better gun')

ASA and feedneck? None. It already comes with a clamping feedneck and on/off ASA. I might get a more comprehensive (smaller) barrel kit or sizer backs.

I have a freak xl barrel kit already, just wanted to know if anyone had any upgrades, maybe a longer screw for the feedneck or thumbscrew?

I mean yeah you can probably pick that stuff up at a hardware/fastener store. They're likely metric threads. Is there any reason you'd need this stuff? Like personally I'd just set the feedneck clamp to a spot where the hopper is a friction fit and forget it.

The only upgrade it needs is a reg. Helps with reliability the reg seats get destroyed by adjusting it under pressure.

I heard that as well, just adjusting the cap in the back for velocity as it says on the guide

Yes that’s correct after the reg has been sweet spotted you do your micro adjustments at the back. Shouldn’t really need to mess with the reg until it needs servicing it should be factory set out of the box. However if you do adjust it make sure to degas it exact time you adjust it so it don’t eat reg seats.

Just want a longer screw for that feedneck, it falls out if you loosen it up any to put in or remove your hopper

That’s an easy one. Go to a Hardware store and get a longer one.

For convenience i prefer azodin's lever clamping feedneck. It has a lever and a thumbwheel for tooless adjustment. reach out to azodin on fb or by email and see if they can get you one.

I put a Lazarus valve in mine and that’s been pretty sweet.

My KP3 takes Dye reg seats which are better quality than the stock ones. Probably a good idea to keep some spares on hand. I'd imagine the KPC uses the same

I just stuck a new reg (sidewinder) and asa (cp) on my kpc to go with the Lazarus valve.

Next I’m going to looks at springs and see if I can go with a lighter main spring.

Eventually I’ll figure out a system of shims and set screws to remove extra play from the trigger pull.

maybe down the line I’ll cut the pump handle down and try to attach something else that’s a little bigger and less dense.

Found a kpc+ 3d printed pump handle and had it printed in petg, feels so much better and lighter than stock handle, also snich in a lazurus valve
