Gen # Alias: How to change settings?

Alright, this will probably be something simple that I am missing, but will someone please explain how to get into the settings on a Gen 3 Alias (Empire 1.5 board)? The marker is currently stuck in the delayed dry fire mode, and the only change I've been enable to enact is that I can get the marker into just the dryfire mode (no delay) by turning it on with the trigger pulled. I cannot launch the menu by holding 1 and 2 down at the same time. I would like to have it in a live fire with eyes on mode.

The manual wasn't much help, but please feel free to tell me to reread it if I missed something.

It sounds like the membrane pad needs replacing.

If the membrane pad is bad, you can use a small Allen key to close the contacts for each button where the ribbon connects on the board.

To add to this, you’re doing the right thing. I’d check if the membrane pad is bad by closing the 1 and 2 button circuit with an Allen key.

Okay, the membrane pad seemed suspect to me as well, as the 2 button does not seem to elicit a response. I'll try closing the circuits and see what happens.
