    Alias leaking from everywhere!

I am reassembling my ABomb with all new orings and Dow55. This thing leaks EVERYWHERE. New oring kit from Capt Oring
I cannot get the input air to shut off no matter how low the LPR and CP HPR are set.
First leak:It feels like it is getting the LPR bypassed as if the square base oring was bad but it is brand new. I can see the oring grease being blown off the front of the ram.

Second leak: It is slowly leaking out of the breach. The cup seal is facing the correct way (cup toward the pressure side). The ram sleeve was put in from the front to avoid damage (in all of my years of rebuilding timmys, I have never tried this method and wow how much easier to install without cutting up the orings). The retaining screw was tightened down and then backed off 1/4 turn (to make sure the tube isnt squished)
-- This one MAY be related to the LPR issue where the front of the ram sleeve is being over pressurized causing the ram and valve to blow by.

Third leak: Front grip screw hole. I think the front grip screw was just a thread too long and caused a crack into the air chamber. Ideas on fixing THAT? I was thinking gooping some JBWeld on the bottom of the hole and shaving down the screw about a millimeter.

Are you able to add a gauge? Start with the LPR screw all the way out and the CP reg screw all the way in. Slowly turn the CP reg screw out and see if the guage goes up at all. That will confirm the LPR is getting bypassed. From my experience Timmys can be particular about that LPR seal.

Was the little oring on the valve stem changed?

Here is a thread about doing the JBWeld fix - https://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?t=1838175

Yep, have a 0-160 on the front block. The screws are all out/in so no air should be getting into the gun, but it is. Adjusting the LPR does actually adjust the pressure, making the leak out the barrel worse.
I did replace the oring, but now I am wondering if I used the right size..

OH SNAP. I didnt realize that was actually a common issue with the front screw. I had never had that happen before.

Hopefully you got this fixed, but if not, the LPR not really working is probably due to the reg seat having failed. If I remember correctly you have to remove the schrader valve to get to it. There's one in the HPR as well. You can get replacements on researchpb.com or fivestarpbtech.com has full replacement kits that include the reg seats. For the breach leak, make sure that you have a u-cup installed on the position closer to the front block. They also need to be facing the correct direction.

I did finally get it to seal. All of my orings were, not surprisingly, old and no longer able to seal. I have had that oring kit since 2010 at least. Brand new orings and it is sealed up.
      Working...
