There were several variations of these that popped up on BEOG. A few used slotted bodies and attached the ram to the side of the bolt, similar to bolt action mods.
I have a grey Talon that has a 16" ThunderPig barrel permanently attached in place of the plastic barrel, and a bunch of 'cocker parts... things that make you say Hmm. I even have a C/A adapter for it, if I so desire. I do prefer pump, though. If you need to talk, I will listen. Leave a message and I will call you back as soon as I get it.

Here is the Talon with the metal barrel that I put together back in, what, 2000-ish. I chopped the plastic barrel off even with the end of the body, then hogged out the remaining stub with a Dremel grinding bit stuck in a Dewalt drill. I didn't actually have a Dremel at the time.
Anyways, I then heated up the plastic and force threaded a 16" CMI ThunderPig straight rifled Spyder barrel into the heated up/hogged out stub. I let it cool, then unscrewed the barrel, applied a liberal amount of 2-ton epoxy, and threaded the barrel back in for the final time.
I bring this up because I can guarantee that the barrel is in there good enough to hold a ram for cocking the marker. And if I can manage such a modification as a child sitting on my bedroom floor with hand tools, then I think it can be easily replicated to provide a stable platform for any future Auto-Talon attempts.
Here's a surprisingly very recent picture of it... I actually tracked it down just a few months ago (3 states away and 20 years later, lol). Might have to give it an update, this time with... PNEUMATICS!1 PhotoIf you need to talk, I will listen. Leave a message and I will call you back as soon as I get it.
