Not a steal like I prefer, but I did just snag a stingray (really don't need a third, HA!). Caught it on ebay before you guys sniped it. BIN 18.99 plus $10 shipping. The up close pic of the boom boom side caught my attention. Rays don't usually have threaded barrels huh? I think $31 bones shipped with a Remora adapter is pretty good.

I saw that and did not notice the threaded barrel. Wow, great snag! Is the remora spyder threaded or cocker i forget? If cocker threaded i would of loved too put my check it barrel dragon 8in on it

To my knowledge the only adapter for the stingray is the remora and I only ever heard of it being spyder threaded. I have a stingray 1 with the full barrel shroud. I didn't think of it until I bought this one though - I wonder if a stock phantom barrel in thin enough to fit in the stingray 1 shroud... because then a phantom threaded adapter would be ideal.

The stingray is in. Grimey as expected. But it functions and holds air. A little wisp down barrel went away after 10 or so shots. Just as I expected! Only "upgrade" is the remora. Besides that, bone stock with a screw in place of the cocking knob. The internals look fine besides dry. The barrel looks a lot like a CMI Tru-Flight but there aren't any markings. No big deal. I got plenty of good spyder barrels!
