Well, started to consider switching to SLA (solid resin) instead of FDM ... looks better and smoother.

Doing some strength testing, so far so good 👍
the threads may need to get metal inserts ... still testi g things out.

If anyone is in a rush, i couls put some FDM together as I have all the parts on hand ...

SLA looks better and smoother at first, but it's not something I would trust for long-term usage. I've considered using SLA for some odd little things for an upcoming product, but nothing mechanical/external.

The SLA resin i have right now was a miserable fail on longevity 🤣
Next round of experimentation will have some engineering resin that is supposed to be able to hold up ... but 🤑

I have been tracking a print issue (aesthetic) for a solid 4+ month now ... every time i think i get it it gets better for a few prints (but never quite as good as id like), then goes to crap again ...
The fourth batch of parts is coming in a few days, im feeling optimistic ... but i wont make any promises anymore 😅

Thanks for the interest.
I don't do waiting list, it's all "first come first serve".
When I post a batch I make a new thread in the sale section and post here so everyone who post here can get an update.

I'm finishing up the next batch (10+ pieces), did a few changes so it will be officially Gen2.

Update time!
got everything back up and running as I want it to on the printing side, cranking parts out consistently and reliably.
I'm gonna go on a limb and say I *may* have the next batch ready in a few weeks 👍

It will be gen 2, modified the feed tube to help double feed when full. Once the batch is ready, I'll get a "upgrade/retrofit" for the gen 1 feeds.

Is there a sales thread somewhere? How much for the Phoenix double feed and what’s the capacity per tube?

I have not sold any of the phoenix feed yet, i have one for my personal gun and been playing with a lot.
It is the exact same as the regular feed, but the feed block is a double, taking 2 tubes.
There is a picture somewhere of mine ... if there is interest, i may put one or 2 together so you can get a better idea of what it looks like complete 👍

This has been pretty quiet for a while, is there still interest?
I have enough parts to make 8 or 10 feeds.

Note that all future feed will be ASA, which is more durable and stable (especially to temperature and UV).
