Hello MCB,
Always loved the Phoenix, always love when someone make something cool and makes it available ...
So, I go a hold of one the last remaining "new" Phoenix kit and decided to make it my dream setup π
I got most of the parts here (the guts are in the part bin):
- Thanks to @haveblue for the second milled body - Thanks to BMC for the freak job
- Thanks to Mike for kit
Whats missing/need to be done?
- The grip frame
- The pump guide
- The valves body machining (I have a plan π )
- The feed
- Assembly
- Play!
1) The frame:
I could go the easy route and use a CCI trigger group and a fancy grip, but where's the fun in that? Here is the frame I want to use.
I have made it work for phantom already, just need to clean up a few things and it's gonna be good to go π
Next i noticed a large gap on the Phoenix kit where the cocking rod rides, it has to be that way to be able to be assembled, but a bushing takes all that slop away π
