No the bolt dose not lock closed like an SL68 if that is what you are asking. You can get the ASP detents this will eliminate Rollouts and double feeds but if you pump it twice it will load two paintballs just like most pumps with very few exceptions.
If you are just getting into pump play you will eventually stop double pumping it with practice. It will become mussel memory. When In doubt pull the trigger to clear the breach and reset your timing.
The Phantom is one of the best performing Stock Class markers. It’s very reliable and efficient. They make very good open class pumps and with its modular design it can be made into a bunch of different pump play styles that fit your needs with even more options when you look at the aftermarket support for them. It’s the one marker that dose it all.
So... how can the feature be added? I agree that it's not necessary after you get used to it (can feel whether it's loaded via trigger pressure or a quick press-check on the pump) but it would be cool to know how, if someone wanted to.
well CCM use to have set for ball dent to stop double loading paintballs but that was hooper feed thing.
Snipers and [later] Sterlings have them and anti-double-feed is now standard on Phantoms.
I have never had a use for this feature ever…just don’t hold the breach open like a ding dong…very easy. It makes more sense as a feature on a Cocker, honestly.
but sometimes something happens and a double feed occurs and it’s a helpful feature then and is basically maintenance free so I think it’s a worthy improvement
