So I was gonna order a nice one from someone on this forum (forget who ) , then I found an old back bottle ASA in my parts bin. Well go to my hacksaw, my grinder and a drill and really old taps that didn’t really work too well and some lovely Teflon to stop a leak …
it holds air , it feels so much lighter . I love this set up now. Now for an under cocking kit.

If for some reason this doesn't hit velocity and you want to try again I have a funky yellow acid wash back bottle valve body I don't want it would be good to experiment with

I'm pretty naive to bobbed phantoms, but I thought cutting it down didn't get you to the valve chamber. Aren't you just taking "extra meat"' off the back?

The valve chamber size didn’t change. The valve chamber starts in front of the 1/8 fitting that I drilled in there. There was just a very small hole going from the valve chamber to the back bottle ASA. If anything there’s now more volume.

I didn’t dare do it on my main valve body. But I had a spare laying around so I figured I would try it. Works flawlessly.

Looks great! Unrelated but what's the deal with the colored zip ties on your air line? I've seen that a lot and never understood why..

Also sometimes used by fields to indicate who purchased "all-day air". Typically put around the tank in that situation.

Yep just a velocity check. At one point I had about 20 of them on there lol.
