    Auto-Trigger Issue

I'm going to double check and compare to my other frame, but having an issue with the timing on my primarily CCM pump build. I had the same frame/AT cam on an Orracle body, and now on a Blizzard body and both are experiencing the same issue. Had an Inception hammer on the Orracle, but a CCM hammer in the Blizzard and both setups had an issue with the auto-trigger dropping the lug too early (about 1/4" to 1/2" before the back block closes). The lug is as low as possible before it starts binding in the body, which is WAY lower than I feel I've had to go on other guns.

Since it's the same pump kit, would the pump arm length cause that kind of issue? Does the under-travel screw effect that engagement? The pump arm seems to match the length of another CCM kit I have, but if there is a measurement I can compare it to, that would be useful.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Pump arm length or how the cocking rod is set are the only things that come to mind.

Maybe I'm missing something, but is there something other than making sure the bolt clears the breech you can adjust via the cocking rod? I don't imagine that would effect anything on the forward motion of the pump handle.

The amount your pump rod is screwed into you pump and your back block can play a bit of a role, effectively changing the length of your pump arm.

Spent some time playing with it, and another frame I had.

I should have changed one thing at a time, but, despite the parts looking near identical, one trigger/sear combo sits lower in the frame than the other. I also backed the pump arm out of the handle a few turns and into the back block a few turns and it seems to be firing when it should now.

The lug still seems very low, but once I get another auto trigger cam, I'll have to see if it causes problems on that frame.
