So, a question first... then an opportunity?
I'm using a T2 top tube to speed up the build-out of a custom Sterling. It's pretty helpful considering my garage lathe can't handle barrel threads. But, I want to shoot stock class occasionally.
What's the availability of T2 stock feeds? Can anyone point me to something reasonable?
And, because this is how I think, if I need to make a T2 stock feed, would others buy them? I sketched one out yesterday and the shop I use is quoting around $100 each if I can get a big batch of them done (dozens), or I can 3D print if it's just for me. Something in polymer would take a Phantom tube or cram n jam with a CCI-style taper fit, or I think I could get a gland designed for an aluminum tube to hold a Phantom tube (or maybe even cram n jam) with an -020 o-ring. Alternately, I could figure out how to do the Shapeways thing if people just want to print their own. (I've never done that before.)
It would be rock-back only, since the Sterling doesn't have a bolt pin to contend with, and I don't know the height of a T2 bolt pin.
Your thoughts?
