T2 auto trigger retention pin stuck

I got a hold of my T2 today. Most of the screws and pins were rusty and not in good shape. It has taken me a few hours to get everything apart without screwing something up.

I’m currently stuck in getting the little retention pin that holds the auto trigger cam out. I’ve tried running alcohol, wd40, hot water and soap, compressed air, a magnet, and snaking it around. I can’t seem to get the little pin to come loose and fall out.

anyone have any more advice? I need to get it out to clean the inside of the frame and trigger.

i have not tried this, but it just came to mind, how about high speed vibrations? something like a massage gun while holding it upside down?
when mine get kind stuck, i just spin the AT cam a bunch of times while its upside down and that usually "spins" it out.

No luck using the massage gun. Good idea though.

Honestly just use a 50/50 mix rubbing alcohol and a small brush like a paint brush to work it into everything. Leave the AT cam in the frame just spray it down good. I wouldn’t bother trying to remove it if the pin is stuck leave it.
