At some point during corona shutdown they shut their doors and haven't answered even industry contacts phonecalls. I was lucky enough to chat with a dirty works support tech who said the direct line to the owner they enjoyed is off. That said they've not let any website registration lapse, they still have all thier patents, and I think part of the reason the fusion elite is on sale for 400 is so they can get some cash and get going again. I got hoop dreams for dp to take a crack at a G6R.

Are the new DP markers any better. I had a Fusion F1 and it spent more time down then working. The frustration from that marker is what softened the $1300 blow my wallet took when I went and got a new PE marker. I still have the F1 somewhere in a case. It’s supposed to be some rare special addition one. Says like 1/25 or something. But It didn’t shoot all that well when it was new. I have never tried a DP marker since.

They make a nice ASA. They should market them as an aftermarket. Lol

Yeah, new one has a bend at the end so it's almost too easy to open but I haven't had any issues during games. I personally prefer to the POPS where the button can be hard to depress while wearing gloves or it doesn't go all the way in so you think it's engaged but actually not. Also the SP one feels so cheap as it's a tiny knob made of plastic and again, slightly hard to engage with gloves on.

Yeah looking at the new ones online they changed the lever profile. Mine I needed to jam stuff under it to get the lever up high enough to get my fat booger hooks under it. New ones have a slight bend in the lever.

I've got 2 of them, a G5 SpecR and Fusion Elite and both are pretty good IMO. Put 20k+ shots through G5 and 18k+ through Fusion in last 6 months and no issues. Paint handling is fine and G5 went down once for bolt stick but as long as it's greased regularly, no other issues. If I'm being picky, the G5 isn't as smooth as my Etha2 or Shocker XLS but not a big enough difference to matter and the price was better. I don't have another poppet to compare Fusion Elite to but I like the way it shoots. At the end of the day, I liked the features like OLED and the lever ASA (which I prefer to PE or SP) at a pretty fair price point.
