    Inception body weight question

Question for Emek & Inception body kit owners:

How bunch do the Inception body kits weigh compared to the stock inner tube & plastic outer? I’m considering picking up an Inception body but I don’t know how their weights compare to the stock body. Weight is a concern of mine due to back problems & I like using it for scenarios. Any weight I can save would be nice. A few ounces aren’t a huge concern, but I guess I’m mainly interested in if it’s noticeable.

Any input would be appreciated & thanks for reading.

The FLE body weight is 163g stock weight is 253g

    5.75 vs 8.92oz

Literally a few ounces lighter for the Inception. They are quite noticeably smaller too, thinner I suppose.
Need Inception Designs or Shocktech Products? Let me know!

No problem. I believe the rippers are lighter as well, but don't have the weight handy. In between.

They're like having a stylized can, just get rid of the plastic body sleeve.

The hard part is picking the ano.

My FLEd Emek is ridiculously light, especially when paired with an UL 50ci Ninja tank. I can also hold it steadily at mid-point using one finger. Neat trick to show off.

Yeah they're expensive but worth every penny.

Whenever I go to a scenario game with gazillions of players, no one would notice if I sported say an LV2 or an M3+. But with my Emek I get asked questions all the time.

      Playing the game since 1990

Interesting, I figured the aluminum would be heavier vs the plastic. Honestly never noticed a difference in marker weight on any of the new markers. Brass and Stainless on the other hand well a different story.

The Duck can get heavy playing all day with it. It’s can be a work out especially without something to wedge in your shoulder. The Walz while heavier having something to shoulder makes a big difference I suppose. Then there’s the VM you better eat your Wheaties.

Anyone feel like weighing theirs? Just for curiosity's sake. My Dye Rize is probably the lightest marker that I own, and I'm curious what your fancy Emeks weigh in at.

Thanks fellas. I'll weigh my Rize in a bit. But that's impressively light.

Edit: Rize comes in at 30.5oz
