Ok, so the last couple times I tried to use my prophesy it wouldn’t work. After sitting down and messing with it, it appeared to be getting jammed on something. I did a full break down, cleaned out some old paint, lubed the gears, and discovered the bottomed plate is broken almost completed in two. You think they sell just this part? Option 2 is go to autozone and pick up some plastic welding epoxy and use that. I used thst stuff to fix a short Ram intake on an old car I had and it worked fantastic. Anyone have any other recommendations? I would hate to scrap this.

Is this a Z2 or an original prophecy? Ansgear has https://www.ansgear.com/Empire_Proph...ypart31022.htm, but I'm not sure if this will fit yours because I believe Z2 vs original have different parts for this.

The z2 back bone does not have a feed neck integrated, you should need to use the new Z2 style feedneck tube piece and cut your prophecy shells to match the profile of the new feed tube (that does not have any part of the shell as part of the feed tube) it is a doable mod and will improve the strength of your hopper. That backbone part ist he hardest part of the mod but since you gotta do it anyways....
The original prophecy shells work great without the feedneck pieces on them.
The z2 shells are the exact same mold but have lopped off the small plastic feed tube outer pieces that were known to crack (mostly due to over tightened clamping feed necks) on the original prophecy.
Might as well try to epoxy that bad boy back together first though.Last edited by Cunha; 04-06-2022, 02:40 AM.

i ordered one of the back boards, I believe mine is a Z2, but I don't' see how the feed neck in mine fits in or if its molded. Do I need one of these?

That metal neck is for the original prophecy only, designed to be more rigid to support the plastic outer shell feedneck portions better so they don't get snapped by the force of a clamping feedneck.
The innovative Prophecy Nose Cones allow players to customize their game in ways never before possible. With the advent of variable sized loader cones, players can now change the size of their loader to specific game needs and strategies. Whether you're a frontman, backman or all around player, Prophecy makes a nose co
Notice how this front cone has a tab at the bottom. This tab goes around that metal tube (original tube was plastic) and is the part that most commonly breaks on the original prophecy.
If your shells are matte black and don't have tabs, you have a z2.
If they are shiny black or clear black they are prophecy shells and you probably have an original prophecy.
Oh - looking at your photos more it looks like you have a z2 back plate there. Any photos of the rest of your hopper parts would make it instantly recognizable one way or another.
That back bone listed above is for a z2 and would be all you need.
