Some say it can’t be done. I refuse to believe that. There has to be a way to effectively create a mini Mech. How do we do this ?

Yeah I'll say it's possible but be prepared for the results to not be great.
The biggest problem is velocity is somewhat dwell dependent. You can get around this by just dumping waaaaay too much air down the barrel but then it is really inefficient.
Problem 2) space. With the air transfer tube taking up pretty much the whole frame you are left with basically no space to put your valves and what not. This alone would stop me from selecting a mini

I just realized another problem though, the way the noid screws on and where you would need to run the air to/from on all these markers is a custom double seal design. You would probably have to recreate that seal in order to maintain control in a mechanical fashion

In the mini platform when the valve is open there's basically a straight open path from the tank all the way out the barrel, this is why velocity control without electronics would be a problem. There's no set amount of air that goes down the barrel

Random thought
Wonder if you could convert a mini to run on propane.
Replace solenoid with combustion chamber
You'll still have the problem of dwell timing but I think the mechanicals would run roughly the same

Anything is *possible* but do you want to spend $800 for someone to copy an emek just to put it in a mini body? Or the 10k to design and prototype something similar?
If you want a more manageable mech project I have one for you that at least I've never seen done before
Proto SLG. Space is plentiful, the valve system already dumps everything in the dump chamber so velocity *shouldn't* be a problem.
The largest problem I really see is if you just hold the sear down it will go full auto (at low velocity) so you need a way to release the sear faster than you can release the trigger. I thought up 2 possible solutions
1) use a pulse valve as mentioned above
2) intercept the air coming into the dump chamber so that it will only fill the dump chamber when the trigger is forward

Even if you did manage to mech a mini, the way the valve works, the longer the trigger is held the more air would go down the barrel so you are effectively increasing and decreasing dwell time each shot, this would result in wild velocity spikes.
The way the gamma core works dwell is in essence separate from trigger pull length that's why dwell time is separate from trigger pull
