TM7 parts compatibility

I'm on the fence of buying a TM7 for recball. I like the idea of it just fine; but since they've not been made in a few years, I'm hoping replacement parts won't be too hard to get.
I seem to recall at the time of the gun's release, hearing the claim that it was just a modified Mini in a milsim shell. How many Mini components are cross compatible? Can I use a bolt, reg, poppet, eyes, solenoid, etc from the Mini to keep the TM7 alive?
Will the newer Empire on/off ASA/reg just bolt right on?
I guess I'm just hoping to use off-the-shelf parts that aren't out of production wherever possible: I have enough unfinished projects lol.

I honestly don't think a ton is cross compatible.

As far as I can recall, solenoid, and poppit.

The tm bolt is longer than the mini, the asa needs an adapter block( can't recall if the stock tm asa can be split) but the tm series asa comes with said block.

The asa will be wobbly no matter what. I struggled to run a tank on gun at all. It's a remote only gun for me.

i highly recommend buying a nummech metal selector switch. Its a small part, but the response of your firing mode positions is crisp.

I highly recommend finding a cheap tm15 over the tm7 though. They have a better selector switch out of the gate. They have a solid asa. They are easier to service, as you can pull the engine in 3 screws. They have a internally baffled body making them pseudo suppressed. You can glue pot scrubbers I to the baffles. I have a tm15, and I love trolling with it.

Since you have one, is the stock of the TM15 removable?

Yeah, it's just a 98 stock.

Yup, like toester said, it's a 98 stock, I play with no stock on mine. Best part is, you remove 2 body screws. A plate pulls off. And the stock comes off. Then a third screw unlocks your drive train. And use an allen key to pull the guts.
