    First Strike regulator o-ring sizes?

Does anyone know the o-rings sizes for First Strike/Guerilla Air regs? Their user manuals are...disappointing. I have an M3 regulator and a Hero. Both need new piston o-rings. But the part list in the manual only says "o-ring" and doesn't specify what size.

Seriously....look at this. Here's the M3 manual. I need to replace parts #2 and #3. This does not help me.

    Updated 6/3/2024:
    #2 = UNKNOWN (but it's not 1x3 or 1x3.5mm)
    #3 = standard size 010 Polyurethane 70
    #4 = size 004-P90
    #5 = size 012-B90

    And here's the Hero manual.

    #19 = reg to bottle seal o-ring 015-B70
    #18 = standard bottle oring
    #17 = inner flange o-ring 012-B90
    #16 = 004-P90 (poppit and fill nipple o-ring)
    #15 = 010-P90
    #14 = 1x3-P90 Metric

I'm in exactly the same boat. Sent an email to service@pepperball.com for assistance. I wasn't sure if my reg seat might be an issue down the road so I'm tempted to grab that as well. Seeing how difficult it was to track down what company supports these products, let alone how to contact them... I'm tempted to drop them for ninja.

Almost forgot. I did find this too on another forum:
"Guerilla Air Myth G2 air regulator orings

      Piston seat 010 b90

      Piston, lower 1x3 b70

      Piston, upper 010 p70

      Flange,lower 012 b90

      Flange,upper (tank oring) 015 p90

      Fill nipple strut 006 p90"

Thanks. I did get a reply from the company when I messaged them on Facebook, of all places. They said they can sell me the parts directly. I'm waiting to hear back now.

That's so funny, I'm also waiting for them to sell me something... Here's the breakdown for Myth/Hero regs from their support:

          ORNG 0004-P90 Poppit/fill nipple oring
          ORNG 010-P90 Piston Oring
          ORNG 012-B90 Inner Flange Oring
          ORNG 015-P90 Tank oring

These are the main ones that you would need!

          Thanks,

I got a reply back from a tech at First Strike and updated my first post with the information he gave me. Matches up with what loveaboveall posted. Turns out that the smallest o-ring on the piston is 1x3 metric, which is hard to find. Luckily the tech was able to sell me some directly. Otherwise I guess I could have bought some from The O-ring Store, but the smallest number they sell is 50.

Installed the o-rings this weekend. The 1x3mm o-ring recommended for the piston does work for the Hero reg, but it does NOT work for the older M3 regulator. It leaks immediately. I happened to have some 1x3.5mm o-rings to try as well, and those seemed to work better. They didn't immediately leak anyway. But they're loose on the piston (because the ID is too large, probably), and when I checked back after a few days the tank had lost some air. So I don't think that's the right size either.

I'm going to try 1.5x3mm next. I can't find that size in polyurethane, sadly, but I ordered some buna ones from eBay. We'll see how that goes.

Well, crap. The 1.5X3mm o-rings also don't work. They're too big. When I screw in the regulator cap, the inside of the regulator shears off part of the o-ring.

It seems like I really need something like a 1.25x3mm o-ring, but I can't find anything that size anywhere. Next I'm going to try 1.5x2.5mm. Maybe if the ID is too small, the o-ring will stretch a little, shrinking the cross section enough to fit inside the regulator.

rawbutter I have two Myth regs nether are what you have.

-The first one have looks older. The bottle (13ci) is from 2000. It has the non pro burst discs and the orings look to match the 1x3.

-The second is closer to yours and is off a bottle from 2012 with pro burst discs. TBH I might just drop the bottle being so close to end of life and the bonnet threads some times bind up on certain ASAs. Anyway... the rings look to be more square than O shaped. I hope you enjoy my excellent photography skills... There is a shot with a 1x3 from the other reg for reference.

I forgot to mention there was so much grease in the 2012 pro burst disc reg. Like globs.

                        Those are great photos.

I also thought the rings looks more square than circular. I thought perhaps it was because they were so old/worn, but maybe they actually used square o-rings.

The larger piston o-ring should be a 010. Square rings for that size are easy to find. Here's one from The O-ring Store.

But again, the smaller size is the real problem. I'm having a hard enough time trying to find standard o-rings that will fit, let alone square ones. These 006 square o-rings are close, but they're very similar in size to the 1.5x3mm o-rings I already tried, the same ones that were cut by the regulator when I screwed in the flange. So they probably won't work.

Still, I might give them a try if everything else fails. But for now I'm waiting on the 1.5x2.5mm o-rings and a few other similar variations. Let's see if any of those work first.

I'll air mine up and see where it is after just cleaning most of the globs. It only had a slight leak at the gauge. I'll break out the calipers and get some OD/ID and Thickness measurements.
