    Repairing a Rosce Revolver

So, I recently picked up a Roscoe that needed work relatively cheap. Thinking that I am better at repairing mechanical markers than I apparently am, I am having issues with the trigger. Specifically, the setting the trigger return spring. Ironically, it is not listed as such on the parts list.
The trigger does not spring back when pulled. I cannot tell if the end of the return spring broke off, or just not sitting on the peg in the frame that puts tension on the spring. My issue is how to get the spring in place. There is no direct access to lift the spring leg on to the pin. The trigger assembly blocks access to the peg. The assembly, less the cylinder detent and spring, must be together before you attempt installation. The cylinder paw must be in place but then adds pressure on the return spring complicating putting it in place on the frame peg. I have been close to getting it together, but it has always ended with failure due to alignment.
Has anyone been successful at replacing the trigger assembly? Is it just my muppet like dexterity that is the issue?

Probably should have started with Pics.
Pic 1 is the right frame with the trigger spring peg painted white
Pic 2 is the trigger assembly spring in place, less the detent
Pic 3 is the trigger assembly in place. You can see the front tip of the trigger spring under the white pin not on top where it needs to be.
