I am considering building an ID Autococker. It seems they're out of stock on many items. Is the Cocker craze over, or is ID suffering from supply chain issues?

Simon has said that he will make more cocker parts in the future. He didn't give a timeline unfortunately. I can tell you that Inception will it be making WGP spec bodies anymore. Unless Simon comes up with a different body, they will likely be his Retro series which shares valve size, frame mounting and detents with the Empire Resurrection and Sniper.

Lots of older stuff is easily rebuildable. I’ve just rebuilt a cocker from around 1996. New o-rings and some YouTube videos are all you really need.
That said, I highly recommend ID 3-ways.

Absolutely. I bought this off you (https://www.mcarterbrown.com/forum/b...rostock-cocker), which runs great. It’s the 3rd 2k3 I’ve owned. Also 2 Resurrections. Was just considering a full sized ID Retro Sleeper or FLE.

Definitely fun doing a high end build. I did one using a System X Dragon body. For ID, I have a soft spot for the midblock hornets bodies. I think aluminum chef had posted an ID body on MCB Facebook. Not sure if it sold. Maier out of Canada has a raw mini FLE body in stock too, if you want to go the custom anno route.

For the guys here that have done a lot of autococker builds. Anyone tried the Inception extended reach kit on a full size autococker body?
I could see that timing rod may have to the longer one that Inception offers, but I am new to building autocockers.
Conceptually I feel the inception ER front block is closer to the geometry of the newer guns with spacing between gripframe and reg/foregrip
This was the front end i wanted to use on my 2K+ build but I also wanted to get feedback from people who may have done builds with it
And yes it sucks that it seems alot of the AC parts at Inception are out of stock and it's worse news if Simon plans to not make anymore WGP spec valve size bodies, It's already a bit disappointing to know a project is held up for small parts. As an example, the blocking plate for the Vertical ASA in the extended reach kit is what would be holding up my build if I proceed with that front block
