Two Spyders this month because they are twins. They have the same old grey classic bodies with the larger feedneck, are fitted with the same bits, and shoot the same. There is but one difference in appearance between the two. Can you find it?

They are fitted with non-insert OTP G-1 barrels rethreaded for OTP G-3 inserts, TASO LPCs, stainless VAs, WGP regs, Millennium single trigger frames, macroline, field strip screws, RVAs, and ported/polished internals. Both are fine examples of smooth shooting, reliable old Spyders with a clean and simple look.

I'm no Spyder expert, but do like the look of these with clean lines. As I'm no expert I can't say what the part is called but there's the small black bolt at the back between the the tubes.

It's not a choker Spyder... but what is that bit in the rear?

Looks like it's a hole, not a screw. Possibly converted to a Compact 2000 type cross pin takedown system?

That's a hole for sure, you can just make out the black from the RVA. That is exactly what it looks like, a Compact cross pin.

You have keen eyes gentlemen. There indeed is a hole in the rear of the left one. It was a mod us Spyder guys did back in the day before it a factory item.
