    Locating 9.6v battery and charger?

What's the current solution to running these old imagine's that need 9.6v power? I have several here that appear to work but a regular 9v battery can't trip the sear when they are underload on any of them so they are either all bad or the 9v just can't power any of them. Before tossing them I would like to try a 9.6v to know for sure. Seems like the picking are pretty slim for a battery and even slimmer for the charger. I would rather not spend $60 bucks on a potential one time use item if they all are broken if I can avoid it.

      What 9v are you using?

      Replaced any capacitors?

I've been using a USB-C rechargeable 1300mAH Li-ion 9v in my E99 and have had no issues so far. They're relatively enexpensive too at ~$11-15 per pair on Amazon. They work well in my Revvies too.

I'm using new energy paintball ones. Ive tried rayovac 9v as well with the same results. They run my vs1 perfectly but can't do much on the older ones I have.
I haven't touched the caps. I could see maybe one be bad but not 4. Without a proper 9.6v I don't think I will be able to know for sure either.

I'd try Duracell, Energizer or Amazon batteries before spending a bunch of money on 9.6v.

Rayovac is not known for high quality and it wouldn't surprise me to find that energy paintball is using cheap batteries to make a quick buck.

Spyder specific I don't think I've ever had a board with the problems you are describing let alone 4. I've had bad capacitors sure but I've never had a spyder that I could not get working on a normal name brand 9v

Harbor Freight rechargeable NiMh 9.6 batteries worked well in my last ESP frame. Cheap enough to carry extras.

I don't think they make them anymore. I haven't seen them for years. I used to use them.
