    HK Synapse Mag Belt?

Debating between chest set up or battle belt with individual pull-down holders (up or down). I bought one of the cheap 3 double mag holders for chest setup, and in the house it feels like I won't be able to shoulder properly if I bring it up high enough to be able to crouch with ease. So suddenly this thing popped up and looks better then chest rigs (needs a drop pouch), but also was debating if the stickiness of the mags is based on the pressure applied by the top velcro band.. Anyone have any hands on with it? I'm new to mag-fed, running cf20's in a emf100.

The CTS Synapse Flex Belt is the ultimate airsoft belt designed for comfort and functionality. Featuring an adjustable elastic waistband and 5 foam padded back panels, this belt offers superior support and stability while minimizing any movement or shifting during gameplay. Equipped with 4 rifle Mag Cells which come at

If you are playing magfed, there is probably a good bit of LARPing involved. A belt like this, oriented as a classic pod pack, doesn't quite fit. Also, if you have experience with real steal, veteran or otherwise, a chest rig or plate carrier setup is more natural. I run a Condor Rapid Assault (https://condoroutdoor.com/collection...ault-chest-rig) with a Spanker triple molle rifle and pistol mag pouch (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KZDNFQR...t_details&th=1). Sometimes if I'm carrying heavier loads I use Whiskey Two Four EveryMag-R pouches with coupled mags instead of the Spanker (https://www.wtfidea.com/everymag-r-s...ines/). I'm sure like the Crbn variant it would work fine, but if you are on a team or play serious magfed, I'm not sure you'd want this rig. Plus mine's less expensive and more natural to what I was trained with Uncle Sam. More capacity too.

If I played mag fed this is the exact setup I would want. As much as I hate HK as a company they make some quality soft goods. I have no experience with this pack but it looks like a great ergonomic pack. Keeps the the hard surfaces behind you.

Not doing milsim. Right now magfed is for fsr use at monster game in hells survivors this sunmer. And for rec play locally as an alternative to pump limited paint.

Will check out the other chest rigs to see if anything makes sense to match my play.

        Any other suggestions thoughts?

I use old school 100rd horizontal pod packs for my Dye/PE mags. It works ok. Definitely a cheaper solution considering I already had them.

Yeah, saw the 100 round recommendation, and wish i had kept my old redz packs from years ago (4 horizontal left, 1 vertical on right side). I have a jt slam pack but that's strapless horizontal, was looking for a solution like that.

This is my take on mag-fed, I might look milsim but it’s not intentional.

I run a chest rig with a drop pouch on the back, running a total of 7 mags with a full pod in the drop pouch for on the field reloads. I would rather have the mags on my back but it is harder and more time consuming to put the empties back. This is the problem I ran into with the carbon mag pack. Trying to line up the rectangular mags into their slots on my back while under fire wasn’t ideal.

I’ll be at the Monster game if you want to check out my setup.

I've got some of the carbon adapters on the way, but the $15 valken belt with the 3-pack of the HK units is pretty solid. I didn't bother picking up the HK belt at this time. You are NOT putting these back in with the belt on (even in the staging area). So no room for a drop pouch. Any recommendations, the PE one is comically large for a 6 pack of mags? I have not played with this config, but it's far more comfortable around the house than a chest rig (but still somewhere to drop the empties.

The 3-pack is all stiched together, and has velcro molle strip, with no cross-weave. Each mag is two wide. I may optionally pick up the double stacked 5 unit, which leaves me with a space to put a drop pouch on the other side. This fits around my back and flexes nicely, and doesn't poke out the sides. The valken belt is just a normal/classic back support belt with molle.

Novice issue, grabbing these like a normal pod will result in them being upside down to engage, I'm not sure the thicker part of the mag will fit in the stretchy part. So retraining of muscle memory.

Why not just built your own battle belt? Valken makes a MOLLE belt that has elastic straps, just like normal pod packs. Unless you're going to run a remote or something, that'll handle the weight of a few mags no problem. And you can add a dump pouch.

Personally, i started off with a Condor (i think?) battle belt and ran suspenders under my jersey. I figured I would hate chest rigs since I do a lot of crawling. But i picked up a surplus FLC vest and MOLLE belt for like $20 on eBay, and i really like it. It's a PAIN to adjust it to your size without the help of a friend. But it carries the weight perfectly evenly and i don't feel weighed down, even with a 68/4500 on the back. And i like having 4 mags around my belly. Turns out I don't crawl flat enough for them to get in the way. So it's no big. So i carry two 2x mag pouches on the vest, and two 3x pouches on the belt, with plenty of room for my tank and dump pouch. That's 10 mags. More than enough.

Look closely. That's the $15 valken molle belt + 2 of the HK units, but need to figure out space for a drop pouch. I bought a six pack of the carbon vertical units to try also. This gives me some space to put a drop if I want. These seem way easier to insert, and are even possible while moving, but they also don't seem to hold as well. I've put some grip tape inside on the non-elastic side and that seems to help. Here's a comparison picture so you can see how it looks (there's a review around here for the whole carbon setup).

Oh, I thought the HK system was an entire belt.

Yea, you get the 4-sized one in the belt, but you can purchase 1, 3, 5, or 7 sized ones by themselves also. Link below.

I don't mag fed, so maybe someone can enlighten an ignorant on the subject. Taking a close direct shot to a mag, will that cause paint inside to break?

The belt being positioned behind the player seems like a great way to reduce direct shots to the mags.

Following along. Tried to use my old Flurry vest to hold
my mags and didn’t work well, ended up temporarily losing a mag. I’ve got a few vest and belt options and was just going to pick up some sort of mag holders.

My buddy has the HK belt and likes it.

I run the crbn prototype belt with the crbn holsters and love it.

The Carbon belt was out of stock, but the mag holders were available. I like the ability to slap the mags back into the carbon holders. The HK belt looked a little odd with multiple detached velcro straps to hold (rather than the traditional style), so I just picked up the "mag-cells" to try. The HK magcells will not let go of the mags, but require a drop pouch or similar, you aren't putting things back in there with the belt on, meanwhile the carbon units you can, but seems a little loose in doing shake tests in the house (hoping the grip tape solves that problem). Will post pictures of the grip tape later.

I have NOT played with either of these setups, and the local fields are either speedball or larger wooden bunker setup, just looking for a variation on limited paint, and ease of mag swaps (without dropping mags at bunkers).

FYI, the valken belts are at ANS - https://ansgear.com/search-results-page?q=valken%20belt

This weekend ran 6 carbon CF20 sleeves, on the valken belt. Worked great, except I can't get the CF20s back in the sleeves while under fire, some of it felt like just getting used to things. I dropped one mag while running, but not 100% it wasn't re-inserted partially vs fully. Just picked up a drop-pouch to user that for fire-fight reloads. Didn't get a chance to try the HK mag-cell.
