I am posting this here so that i do not Necro an old thread, if needed i can move it.
So I ordered my Thumper very early and added a couple of customizations because of that my thumper was one of the last out the door before he shut down. It has been fired maybe 20 times and cocked another 100ish. I have never taken it to the field to play with, I am starting to lower my count of wall hangers and this one has always interested me. I am thinking of getting this going and wanted to make sure i knew what it was i need to do before i take it out and play with it.
1) I see from the Working Thumpers Unite thread and Issues and Remedies thread that i should find an inline reg set to 300psi if i am using CO2 or HPA, does anyone have a good source / recommendation for that?
2) I also see that i need to lube it with super lube and check the hammer.
3) Is there anything else that i need to do to make sure it works and continues to work? Urethane Orings were mentioned what sizes should i get does anyone know?
4) I see where someone made or was making a couple of better parts are they still here, who would they be and are they willing to do it? Along those lines is that something that i should buy?
