I'm tempted to buy a Nova N1, I think they're neat and all my semi guns are pre 2000 for the most part so something with sort of modern-ish features would be awesome to me. However, the cherry on top would be it running good on co2 in cold weather for my occasional outlaw field balling. If I understand correctly, an advantage of the original 700s was that such a low operating pressure would accommodate the low pressure of co2 tanks when they got cold, Is this still true for the N1s? or should I stick with my Montneel with its siphon tube tank for next cold season.

Running N1 on CO2?

I will say that the original novas were great on cC02 because of the de-icer beads. They created surface area which allowed the gas to expand.
The n-1 does not have them, because they were designed around hpa. If you do plan to switch to C02, you may want to consider swapping some of the orings to urethane. I think you will have better experience that way. i would also call up nova and have that conversation with them.BeardedWorks.com (Your Inception Designs and Shocktech Dealer)

Quick update on this: Nova got back to me on the whole thing and their basic answer was "you could, but try not to get liquid CO2 in the thing" which is understandable. It seems like it's as expected and fully designed with only HPA in mind. They really advise using a siphon or a remote-line to keep liquid CO2 from the non-urethane orings if you really want to run it on CO2, basically just like any other modern HPA designed marker. If you plan to run CO2 out of these, just know it probably works fine and the low operating pressure will help it run in the cold, but it's not recommended by the manufacturer in the slightest.
