    New N3 Questions

New N3 owner here, getting prepped for the inaugural field day this coming weekend. So far so good doing function tests at home. Pressure tested right at 160 out of the box. Couple quick questions.

1- Can I safely clean the grease out of the breach area? Or at least the portions that might touch the paintball?
2- What HPA input pressure at the ASA is recommended?
3- Does the trigger need to remain floppy by design? I'll give it a fair try before considering adding a spring or somesuch. It's just a bit unusual.

1- Can I safely clean the grease out of the breach area? Or at least the portions that might touch the paintball? Yes you can clean up excess grease in the breach.
2- What HPA input pressure at the ASA is recommended? HP pressure it is regulated internally (I think TJ said anything under 1200psi IIRC and most bottles top out around 850 psi)
3- Does the trigger need to remain floppy by design? I'll give it a fair try before considering adding a spring or somesuch. It's just a bit unusual. Yup that is how the trigger is and I asked the same question if a spring could be added to stiffen it up some and the answer by TJ was no. I am thinking about shimming the side of the trigger between it and the frame when I have a need to dig into the frame in the future but not tearing down just to do so. Word of caution the trigger is really touchy when there is air on the marker so do not play with your finger laying on the trigger it is easy to accidentally fire. I accidentally shot a player when a ref was handing me my N3 back during a game when my finger just grazed the side of the trigger.
If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact Nova Paintball by email or on FB; the owner and the rest of the staff (usually TJ Apaches on here I think) are very responsive and helpful. Also go visit them at events, they are super friendly, helpful and full of paintball war stories.
