Forgive me Pump Deities, for I have sinned...

First time playing (at all) in well over a decade this past weekend. Got to play with a ton of walk-ons, and used an sniper-converted Outkast that I recently picked up here. Was having a blast until I wasn't. I somehow chopped? 🤣 I must have either not pumped far enough, or went too far, because all of a sudden my straight shots looked like they were on a corkscrew.

Either way, cleaned everything up and was shooting like a dream again. I was the only one out there with a pump. The walk-on games ranged from 10 v 10 to as high as 15 v 15, so lots of paint flying around. Had a ton of fun and look forward to playing more pump games as well as building another one (or two)!

I wonder if you double pumped and loaded two balls? Sometimes I feel like my arm sometimes spazzes out and does that. Glad to hear you had fun and I'm sorry about the future of your wallet 😀

Might have. Was playing hyperball when it happened and it was a little chaotic.

Yeah, my wallet gonna be crying. Can't wait to show off the project I'm working on.

Also can get chops from double feeds or partial feed of a 2nd ball due to detent not being up to the task of handling the small balls in a stack. Force Feed hoppers can be a problem also with double feeding balls into or past the detents. Another thing to look at is bolt position when pumping, if it travels too far back you can get a ball and a partial in the breach and chop a ball.

One reason I only use a revvy for pump, or gravity feed, or stock class...lol

Yeah, I gotta check that. That would be a cocking rod adjustment, right?

I was using a grav hopper, so no worries about force feeding causing issues.

Yes, the cocking rod will adjust the bolt position when held back
