I've been looking for a velocity adjustable bolt for my PMI trracer, and I was wondering if the empire trracer bolt can be used instead. My trracer does not have the floating powertube/hammer, and instead uses a traditional style nelson powertube, and hammer. Empire bolts are a lot easier to get a hold of in good shape.

Interesting. It might be worth a shot. I don't have the long powertube version, but looking at the bolts side by side, other than the anti-kink on the Empire bolt they are basically identical.
I'm sure Zeta will be along shortly to tell you that you don't need a velocity adjustable bolt, and I'm actually inclined to agree with him. I've been getting away with making spring changes if I need to lower or raise, but mostly my trracer just seems to shoot 260-280.Originally posted by Terry A. I've gotten away fine with spring adjustments as well, but I just like having the ability to adjust slightly on the fly.

Refoogee you might have luck with this since it looks like it's intended for the long powertubes: https://baccipaintball.com/nel2213.html
