autococker parts auto trigger for slide frame questions

I have a auto-trigger slide frame kit for my pump. I can single fire no problem but when I try to auto-trigger it doesn't reset the hammer I have tried the hammer adjustment forward and backward up to 3 full turns and it doesn't help, any ideas how to get it working?

Seems like there's more issues with these than ones that work! I've tried messing with one in the past and gave up. I don't typically ever use auto trigger anyways so it was fine but it was such a huge pain.

There’s a reason that %95 of the DIY pumpercockers you see don’t have AT. Getting AT working on a gun that didn’t ship with it is *hard*.

You have to adjust the cam position. No amount of hammer lug adjustment is going to do anything if the cam isn’t preventing the trigger from dropping the sear.

I spent a _long_ time getting the ACP kit working on my Meteor pump using a Mozak 86 frame. It was definitely more difficult and tedious than I was expecting it to be, and their instructions that allude to there being a "very narrow window" where the AT function will work, is no joke. I wish their instruction sheet was a little better than what it is.

What I found on mine was that unless I had the trigger plate glide screws set just right so the plate moved only forwards and back with as little play as little play as possible, it wouldn't work because the plate would tend to pivot just a little throwing the whole thing off. Even after I got it all set, I've noticed that the firing point has seemingly shifted a little over time from where I originally set it and I need to keep making small adjustments to the hammer lug to correct. I don't think that is a function of the hammer lug moving because it barely moves as is with an allen key, and I made sure to use VC9 on the threads of the lug before installing it.

I don't know if that helps, but as others have said, it definitely seems very hard to get it working on a gun that didn't come with AT by default.

i know there hasnt been a post here for a long time, but i just set up another auto trigger and after getting frustrated trying to do it from memory, i found the ACP directions and re read them.
          Feel like a fool!
After you get the lug to just barely start to catch, you need to screw it IN! the auto trigger needs MORE lug to grab, not less. for some reason, it made more sense to me that the tripping point should be as early in the pull as possible. NOT THE CASE!!!!
i feel like this part of the setup is the one everyone struggles with
DROP THE HAMMER LUG WAY MORE THAN YOU THINK
