I was robbing parts from my Phantoms to put in a 007, and I thought, why not make the stock 007 internals anti-kink?
Then I took some measurements... and realized the Phantom hammer would lock up just fine with all the stock Nelson internals, given a new sear.
All this time I thought I had to swap the bolt, too, which meant the powertube on top.
I just saved $80!
My 007 now has a #4 powertube, stock bolt with the nose ground to a ramp, and a 2nd-gen Phantom hammer with a new sear, and it's smooth and reliably shooting 250. I'll swap my silver CCI spring for a red and see what happens.
This little guy definitely needs to get bored for inserts, though. The seam down the barrel tubing is uuuuggglly.
