Hey All,
Gargoyle owner #72 here saying hello. Essentially haven't played in like 7 or 8 years ish but held onto this Gargoyle over that time and finally got back into playing paintball this year. Super stoked and decided to rock the Gargoyle for the PBSL Event #1 this last weekend.. and well, it was definitely a lot of "are you sure you want to do this?" types of looks since everyone else was rocking CCM cockers with hoppers and I was the only stick feed player (on the verge of switching if we got rocked too hard or if I felt out gunned).
Suffice to say, the Gargoyle performed amazingly well all day, shot consistent and beautifully with one user error exception where I broke a ball double feeding.. oops. And of course the quick clean/disassembly between games is Awesome. I shot on HPA because temperature was estimated high of 109 for the day and it was already 90 degrees by 9am (and 115 in my car thermometer when leaving).
Best part of the day was placing! We got 3rd and that medal! Originally thought we didn't qualify for quarter finals but there were some few technicals that got us extra points to push onward (I did a flag pull in a game that we lost and our captain won a very necessary 1v1, Great team work overall).
Definitely will look forward to rocking this Garg over the next events!
Gargoyle #72 Build:
Fluted Hammer with Red Mainspring
*Open/Ported TPC (I assume Lapco?)
16" Dye Boomstick - Phantom Threads
Custom Stock
I think sometimes it's a Little too long but it works very well outside of super tight corners.
Thanks for reading!! I tend to be at HSP on Fridays (Sundays too) and have been meaning to make my way out to Ambush more if anyone else is out this way!
