    Robo's Flintlock Rifle

Received this from Robo over three years ago just before I made my big move up to the great pgp mountains up here in Idaho.
Forgot about it until a month or so ago and I have now started on its rebuild...
It was completed about eight years ago and got sent to a plater to have it coated.
Long story short, the plater left it to long in the plating solution and ruined the brass body...
    pitted and scarred for life...

i bought a long barrel pellet gun that I tore apart and used the lower tube for rebuilding...
made a new breach for it and cut a piece of titanium for the barrel. Waiting on brass tube to complete but she is looking good..

This marker is truely unique as it cocks the hammer via the pushrod, then you cock the bolt back with the thumb lever. Pull the trigger to fire...
    incredibly unique and incredible workmanship...
Who ever built this is truely a master..

here are some pictures showing condition of body and the new body being made...

Will it be muzzle loader or side tube?

It will be a singl shot like the original..
      One ball, one hole.....

That's great looking, so you use the pushrod to push the bolt back, load the ball, pull the tod (linked to the bolt) back, then pull the "flint" back to cock the gun?

    I may steel a few ideas for ... "Science" ... 😁

Where does the stock/mechanism comes from?

Actually you use the pushrod to cock the hammer, pull back the thumb lever to cock the bolt, load your round and pull trigger to fire......

    Thanks Wally.
The push rod reset and hammer delay were to simulate the action of a flintlock.

It was built in 2006. The original had a breach cover and rear sight

How did you link the lever to the hammer?

      Any more pictures?
      It looks incredible 🤯

Two stage. Pulling the trigger first released the bolt which would move forward and then trip the hammer to hit the valve.
Click to pull back external hammer, clack to release the bolt, boom when the hammer is released.

Flintlock rifle is now complete and I really love the color combo....
I also made two bolt action single shot pgp's for his K- frames...

Silver vein powder was used and it complements the titanium barrels nicely...

i love over the way they turned out and hope you do to...
