Wow, this is really coming along.. I like everything you have done to her...
The lever action co2 and the cutout looks great..
And the cocking lever action is coming along great..
on the lever linkage have you considered using a 10/32 ball joint connector ( available at any hobby shop) for the bolt to arm connection. Works very well.
And have you considered welding the lower lever arm to your through bolt...
i can do this part for you if you don't have access to a welder...
also you might want to through bolt the connection between the lever and the through bolt...
In my experance a grub screw will not hold up to the cocking action.
Keep up the good work buddy, this bad oscar is going to be one sweet machine when you get her done...

Just posted this in the wrong section.
Chuck. You are in luck. My McMaster order showed up. Unfortunately i mis calculated my short shoulder bolt lengths, so Im using both long ones at this moment. the linkage floats back and forth as a result. .
The set screws still slip, but Im going to drill half way through the shaft on both the arm and the lever to lock them into place like Walz suggested.. Then i need to secure the whole thing into the stock which I have figured out.
But the wife is yelling at me, its past my bed time.4 Photos

I was able to poke 4× 4-40 holes into my lever block to the internal plate. I am thinking about drilling through the stock and bolting them together again through the wood, but you know I had to test it... it racks the hammer!!!!!
I still ned to profile the bottom of the block to remove the corners.
Wife wanted to get lunch so I'm off for a while, but you best believe I'm going to attempt more progress today. Maybe Ill juice a 12ie and fire a few rounds.2 Photos

Ive decided I am changing the lever arms up a bit. I just dropped another $90 on Mcmaster, I ordered some SS bar stock, SS pointed set screws for the lever binders, a shorter shoulder bolt for my mistake before, brass 10-32 threaded inserts for hard wood, the tool to install said inserts (for mounting my RTR quads), and some rod ends (for the next one.) I'm going to make similar lever arms to the black ones I have here. My glued and screw arm that is doing most of the work just isnt going to hold up to the test of time. I wanted brass bar, but it all comes 1" wide which is too wide. The dimensions on this stainless stock seems like I can cut to jength, poke my holes, and press my bushings.
