New detent, using a Planet Eclipse rubber detent. It works great and it's low profile compared to the autococker detent.

Looks much better, nice idea. Always thought the cocker ones looked out of place. Just my 2 cents.

I didn't mind the look myself, but these are much easier to keep consistent. I also need to find some better fasteners

I was requested to add a Spyder style detent and plate to this awesome PGP. I think it came out pretty darn good.

Jordan it's for Spyders. Made of aluminum. I just added a matching brass plate underneath it to have meat for screw threads.

Jordan, the detent cover is a very old spyder cover made from aluminum. Ive had sitting here for 20ish years in a parts bin.

NY double barrel tops out at 240 fps. I'd like to know what your valve looks like after ya get this one going.

I decided to make the pump from the cut off, and add a delrin sleeve. Once I get the guide in, then I'll finalize shaping the stock and pump, as well as the air line for the ASA going on the grip.

Testing went well. I have a little more tuning to do, but I hit 255fps first shot.

Sorry, is not as much of a trade secret as it is an art form, so it's hard to explain. It's like a series of processes done the "wrong way" to achieve what I see in my head

My brain says it's nickel plated, then torched. But I was genuinely curious is all. I'm also wondering how it'll hold up to use over time. Looks amazing.

It definitely needs a top coat, I'm still testing laquers.

It's hard to capture the color now. I applied laquer and it darkened it up quite a bit. It has a color shift Mystic Purple Mustang kind of vibe now.

This is a chplnstone build, I just added a detent and the colorful finish. Enjoy packersrule729

I might be sending some things your way for plating... very impressive.

Does polished vs matte base surface affect anything? I know PPS used to blast everything before plating to get that quintessential look.

So far I've been starting with a polished surface. I would love to give a media blasted surface a try. If air compressors capable of running a media blasting cabinet werent so expensive, I'd have one here to try.

As for this finish, I'm still in the testing phase, but it's coated with laquer currently. It's not the most durable finish yet, but I'm hoping having 4 coats keeps it nice for a while.
