Anyone have an idea what this is exactly and what it might be worth?

VM-68 ...Not totally sure, on the current market, probably $75-$100 (functionality dependent).

Vm68 with quick strip screws, sight rail, lapco grip, likely a cooper t 90° air block, disposable tank adapter and a stainless barrel.

All that and you're looking at maybe 75 tops

They are fun markers and probably everyone on this site either currently owns one or has at some point in their life..... That being said they don't bring much

Custom ones could but that being said there's like ten of us willing to.

-I'd be surprised if it were stainless, since it still has the mounting collar. More likely it's factory brass that's been ported then nickeled or chromed.

... Irrelevant for the topic at hand, just being pedantic.

(Disposable tanks on a VM? That gotta be one of the most expensive per-ball ways to play. Counting the paint itself, that's what, half a buck a shot?)

There was a few running twin 20 oz because of the gas hogginess, I think a New England express guy had one when I played walk on Capital paintball

Oh sure. Twin 20s and a 7 or 10 up front was not at all uncommon. My point was the disposable cartridges, which back in the day used to cost anywhere from $15 to $20 each. (Best price today is still $10-$12 each.) Even $10 is a lot to pay for what's basically a three-ounce fill, which is roughly 80 shots on a VM.

              Doc.

Well in that case I may know a guy that might have one up for grabs soon....... You really are missing out, it's an incredible workout lugging one around for the day..... Use one for a year and you will look like Popeye

I know I wont shoot one if I owned it. If someone had one ready to rip at a big game, with a siphon co2 set up installed and everything. Id set my shooter down and run it.

Sadly VMs don't have great resale value unless it's something truly rare (like a Carter VM) .... As it sits you'll be lucky to get 50-75 but if you part it out and arent in a rush you can probably get more for the parts
